Each student got to pick one of the 9 planets (counting Pluto - our "Dwarf" planet) to create a model of and research (some students also chose the Sun and the Moon). We learned about the planets in our Science books (Planets, Sun & Moon chapter), and the students also got to go to the computer lab to check out various websites to find facts about their planets. They then created posters about their planets as well as paper-mache models. Here are pictures of them with both their poster and their model. Can YOU tell which planet they have???
